STARSAILOR frontman James Walsh will perform a gig in Lichfield later this month.
As well as his classic hits, the performer will also be showcasing numbers from his new EP Renewal at The Hub at St Mary’s on 28th February.
The songwriter said his influences for the new work had come from a range of artists, including Paul Simon. He said:
“I look at how carefully he crafts the songs.
“Renewal is about when your kids reach adulthood and you want them to go off and flourish. For them to be completely independent but just know that you’re there if you need them.”
Anthony Evans, creative director at The Hub at St Mary’s, said:
“James’ music comes from the heart. He crafts his music to perfectly capture the emotions expressed in his lyrics and delivers his songs with great sensitivity.
“We’re absolutely thrilled he is coming to The Hub.”
Tickets are £19 and can be booked at thehubstmarys.co.uk.
