Stephen Sutton has been named Burntwood’s Young Citizen of the Year.
The teenager – who is suffering from incurable cancer – was recognised for his charitable efforts.
He has raised more than £100,000 as he ticks off a ‘bucket list’ of dreams.
The latest award was given by Burntwood Town Council, with a certificate handed over by chairman Cllr Ron Bradbury, which read:
“Presented to Stephen Sutton in recognition of his tremendous courage and for being a magnificent ambassador for Burntwood, both as a person, and for his amazing effort to raise so much for the Teenage Cancer Trust.”
