Lichfield City suffered the agony of conceding a stoppage time goal as they went down 1-0 at Bolehall Swifts.
Paul Holt’s men looked to have hung on for a point after playing a man light for the last 20 minutes after Liam Holt’s controversial red card.
The home side had the better of the first-half, with both sides failing to make any real inroads in a typical end of season clash with little riding on it.
The best chance for Bolehall saw Craig Johnson deny Troy Wallen, while Josh Houghton fired wide for Lichfield after half-an-hour.
City gradually began to find their rhythm in the second period, with Holt forcing a good save out of Thomas McNulty before the game was turned on its head by his dismissal.
But despite seeing their numbers reduced, Lichfield looked to be heading for a point until Michael Pollard scrambled the ball home in the dying moments.
