SCOTTISH storyteller Michael Bird will bring the work of Robbie Burns to life when he appears in Lichfield.
He will be the special guest for Lichfield Storytellers at The Kings Head in Lichfield on 13th January.
The Burns Night-themed event will take place at 7pm.
Christine Genders, from Lichfield Storytellers, said:
“We are thrilled to have Michael Bird as our first teller of the new year.
“He is a first-class master storyteller in a kilt – and we will have a nibble of haggis and a wee dram too for our audience too.”
Entry is £7, with the event forming part of a packed 2026 programme which will run on the second Tuesday of every month.

“The line up for this year is incredible. We have international storytellers of the finest calibre, including Liz Weir MBE in April – a legend in the story telling world. Her work has been acknowledged and admired by The King himself.”
