A range of free events in Burntwood’s parks have been hailed as a success.
Nine children’s play sessions were held across the summer with hundreds taking part.

Activities including rounders, football, bouncy castles, face painting, cricket and skipping were on offer, while toddlers had their own play equipment, such as bubble machines, a ball pool and sand tables.
Cllr Heather Tranter said: “We are delighted that so many families were able to access these free events.
“We’re also really happy that our fantastic parks are being put to good use.”
