A St Giles Hospice volunteer has said she felt honoured to be asked to join members of the Royal Family at Westminster Abbey for a Christmas carol concert.
An urgent appeal has been launched in a bid to help St Giles Hospice tackle a shortfall in its funding that has already seen it forced to cut jobs and beds.
