A FESTIVE fundraising event has broken records, a charity has confirmed.
St Giles Hospice said the TreeCycle initiative – which sees real Christmas trees collected for recycling in exchange for a donation – saw around 5,500 trees collected, raising £101,000 for the Whittington-based organisation.
A spokesperson said:
“We’re absolutely thrilled to announce that our 2025 TreeCycle has broken records.
“A huge thank you to our 150 kind-hearted volunteers and all our supporters for making this year’s TreeCycle such a success. We couldn’t do it without you.”
