GOODS worth more than £1,500 have been recovered after shoplifters were caught in Rugeley.
Two arrests were made after the incident at a Tesco store.
They were held after officers stopped a vehicle in connection with the theft.
A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said:
"This is a positive result in the ongoing effort to tackle retail crime and protect local businesses."
