A LOCAL language education company is celebrating awards success.

Kidslingo, which offers lessons in French and Spanish, was named Team-Led Business of the Year at the Class Business Awards.

The Lichfield outlet is owned by Amy Archer, who swapped a career in franchise support to build a company around her lifelong passion for languages.

Beginning by delivering lessons to local nurseries, the business has grown to a team of educators providing French and Spanish tuition to hundreds of children each week.

Amy said:

"I'm absolutely delighted that our team has received this recognition. This award is for the whole team who do such a fantastic job of inspiring children to love languages.

"As a team we share ideas, support each other and work incredibly hard to create fun, engaging experiences for children.

"I'm so proud of what we've achieved together and excited about what comes next."

The team's approach centres on learning through fun, with children introduced to French and Spanish through songs, games, storytelling, drama and interactive activities.

The judges at the Class Business Awards said:

"The care for both the team and the children shines through this business."
