The Bishop of Lichfield has confirmed he is to retire.
The Rt Rev Jonathan Gledhill made the announcement via a video posted online.
The 66-year-old said his 40 years of ministry was “a good stint”.
He added that he planned to retire to Kent with his wife Jane following his last official engagement in the role on September 26.
