THE award-winning sounds of The Blackheart Orchestra are coming to Lichfield next month.
The two-person orchestra, made up of Chrissy Mostyn and Rick Pilkington, will play up to 13 instruments in their live show at The Hub at St Mary’s on 7th February.
Their contemporary rock sound will be created with the use of guitars, bass, piano, organ vintage synthesisers and more.
Their last two albums reached the top 20 in the UK, with their latest work, Hotel Utopia, winning best British album, best song and best female vocalist in the USA Progressive Rock Awards.
Anthony Evans, creative director at The Hub at St Mary’s, said:
“The Blackheart Orchestra have proved very popular with audiences at The Hub and we’re excited to be bringing them back to Lichfield for more of their amazing, unique soundscapes.”
