A theme park near Lichfield has broken a world record.
Seven hundred people turned up in onesies to Drayton Manor Theme Park, beating the previous record of 622 people gathered in the all-in-one pyjamas.
Although the record still has to be verified, managing director Colin Bryan was pleased with the turnout – which included visitors aged from one to 60.
“The atmosphere was electric and the glorious sunny weather has helped keep spirits up and has no doubt added to the fantastic turnout
“The onesie craze has really taken off lately and the one-piece suits have fast become the item to be seen, in so it seemed an ideal way to get everyone involved and it’s absolutely incredible that we’ve broken the world record.”
