A theme park near Lichfield is set to kick off its festive season.
The Magical Christmas event at Drayton Manor Theme Park will see Thomas Land transformed into a winter wonderland, complete with music decorations and snow machines.
The event kicks off tomorrow (November 26) and will run until January 2, 2012.
This year will also see Santa’s Magical Workshop take centre stage, where youngsters get to meet Jack Frost and his penguin friend Archie, who tell the story of the flying reindeer before the children share their Christmas wishes with the Ice Princess. Visitors then get to see Santa and his elf, Humphry, hard at work making toys in their workshop.
A spokesperson added: “Boys and girls aged nine and under will receive a free gift too – but only if they have been good!”
The 20 rides and attractions in Thomas Land will be open along with the Ben 10: Ultimate Mission roller coaster, the zoo, 4D cinema, big wheel, carousel and Jolly Buccaneer.
