Thousands of people are expected to visit Lichfield Cathedral to pay their respects to fundraising Burntwood teenager Stephen Sutton.
The 19-year-old embarked on a remarkable bid to raise funds for the Teenage Cancer Trust as he battled his own incurable cancer.
And the total has now reached the £4million mark thanks to more than 172,000 donations from around the world.
A horse drawn carriage will bring his coffin to the Cathedral this evening. It will remain there until 3pm on Friday for people to pay their respects before a private family funeral.
Businesses in Lichfield have also been joining homes and businesses in Burntwood in displaying yellow ribbons in memory of Stephen.
People can still donate to Stephen’s fundraising efforts via his online JustGiving page.
