Time is running out for people to apply for the Stephen Sutton Bursary scheme.
The initiative, which is run by Burntwood Town Council, intends to help fund additional opportunities for young people.
A spokesperson said: “The scheme is open to encourage youngsters to develop their talent in many fields including art, photography, acting, film making, music, dance, academic excellence, and all sports.
“It can be used for a variety of projects, including purchasing specialist equipment or clothing, research projects, extra tuition or coaching, competition fees and travel.”
