Lichfield City will be hoping to keep up with the pacesetters in the Midland Football League Premier Division when they travel to Highgate United this weekend.
Ivor Green’s men currently sit sixth in the table, five points behind second placed Racing Club Warwick and seven adrift of leaders Walsall Wood.
They go into their game tomorrow (11th February) on the back of a confidence boosting midweek win in the quarter finals of the JW Hunt Cup.
Standing in their way will be a Highgate side sitting tenth in the table and going into the fixture on the back of a heavy 6-1 home defeat against Studley last time out.
Lichfield have already faced tomorrow’s hosts twice this season, recording a 5-0 victory in a league cup encounter at the Trade Tyre Community Stadium in November and drawing 2-2 in the league in August.
Kick-off is at 3pm.
