The Midlands Air Ambulance has received a second boost after TV presenter Jeff Brazier won £16,000 for the charity.

His achievements on a celebrity version of Impossible came after he also helped them in the Celebrity Wish List programme.

The decision to choose the Midlands Air Ambulance as his nominated charity for the prgoramme last night (October 12) came after he researched the organisation for the original show and was shocked to realise that they receive no government or Lottery funding.

Alongside singer and TV presenter Jenny Frost, who was playing for the Roy Castle Lung Foundation, Jeff did battle against illusionist Philip Escoffey and took part in a number of challenges on the celebrity episode.
