A group of German tourists have been exploring the attractions of Lichfield.
Fifty-six members of a church choir from Hamburg were given a guided tour of the city.
The Lutheran churches in the German city are twinned with the Diocese of Lichfield, so Visit Lichfield arranged the special sightseeing session for the group.
Councillor Val Richards said: “It is always a pleasure to welcome visitors to Lichfield, and this was all the more special because of the twin diocese connection.
“The council’s Visit Lichfield team worked with the organiser of the Hamburg trip, Christa Hunzinger, to make sure the day’s visit was enjoyable and memorable for the 56 choir singers.”
The group were led through the city by a green badge guide before enjoying an afternoon visit to Lichfield Cathedral. They then took part in the Choral Evensong service.
Their visit was part of a week-long trip to the UK.
