A Lichfield animal charity is on the lookout for volunteers.
Cats Protection are keen for people with a range of skills to get involved.
Among the roles that need to be filled are fosterers to help accomodate animals waiting to be homed and people to help lay and collect traps to catch feral cats.
There is also a need for a publicity officer and someone to help maintain the cat pens.
“We need a person who enjoys DIY to join our team and be responsible for general repairs and maintenance to our pens,” a spokesperson explained.
“They are situated in Lichfield and Tamworth and require a yearly coat of wood preservative and general repairs as the need arises.
“All equipment costs and travelling expenses will be paid.”
