Woman arrested after cannabis found growing at house in Lichfield

A woman has been arrested after cannabis was found being grown in a Lichfield property.

A WOMAN has been arrested after cannabis was found being grown in a Lichfield property.

More than 30 plants and associated equipment were seized from a house off Boley Lane on 7th April.

The raid followed intelligence that cannabis was being grown at the property.

A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said:

“Following an investigation, a 53-year-old woman, from Warwickshire, was arrested on 21st May on suspicion of producing a controlled drug of class B – cannabis and being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug of class B – cannabis.

“She has been released under investigation while the investigation continues.”
