A Lichfield woman has died after being hit by a van in Lichfield.
The 44-year-old was involved in the incident on Upper St John Street at around 5.35am on Sunday (November 9).
The driver of the Mercedes Vito Van, a 41-year-old also from Lichfield, wasn’t injured.
A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said: “Sadly the pedestrian sustained serious injuries and was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham where she later died. She has yet to be formally identified.
“Specially trained officers are supporting the family at this difficult time.”
Witnesses are asked to contact Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 140 of November 9.
