A woman has died after being hit by several cars on the A38 near Lichfield.
The incident happened at around 9.30pm last night (January 14) between Capper’s Lane and Darnford Lane.
The woman involved was believed to be in her 20s and from the Lichfield area.
The carriageway remained closed until around 8am this morning as the police investigation into the incident continued.
