WORK is set to start on plans to improve a local playground.
New equipment is being installed at Elford’s Jubilee Memorial Playground.
Having originally opened in 2005, the site will be given a makeover thanks to funding from Lichfield District Council and Tarmac.
As well as new equipment, the playground will also be resurfaced.
Elford Parish Council has confirmed that the facility will close temporarily once works being on 25th May.
