Young Lichfield musicians will take centre stage at a concert in the city.
Six bands and performers who wowed the crowds at the Fuse festival in the summer will return at the Lichfield Guildhall on December 7.
The event will be headlined by local indie-rockers Influx. Also on the bill will be Amelia Harrison, Luca Vincent (joined on drums by Sam Wyss), Chris Elliott, Attacked By Bears, and Café de Kashmir. Musical styles will range from acoustic folk to heavy rock.
Lichfield Arts Director Chris Newcombe said: “There were so many fantastic young performers at this years Fuse that we felt we had to give them the opportunity to play at the Guildhall.
“Attacked By Bears, Café de Kashmir and Influx are three fabulous young rock bands with contrasting styles, and anyone who saw Amelia Harrison and Luca Vincent could not help but be impressed by their talent at such a young age.
“With such a young line-up the talented singer-songwriter Chris Elliott at 22 is almost a veteran!”
The event will help to raise money for next year’s Fuse festival which is one of the largest free community festivals in the UK.
