Around 20 local children have been making birdfeeders to help see their feathered friends through the winter at an event at Chasewater Country Park.
The free session saw youngsters pressing lard and seeds into pinecones to create a handmade feeder.
Ellen Williams, Chasewater ranger, said: “We were really pleased lots of young people came along to our make a birdfeeder event.
“The children will be able to put their birdfeeders up in their gardens and know that they will be helping their local birds find food this winter.”
