Zoo near Lichfield offers unique training course for budding wildlife photographers

Published:

A zoo near Lichfield is offering photographers a unique chance to perfect their pictures.

Drayton Manor Zoo has teamed up with local snapper Rob Price Photography to launch a wildlife photography course.

The full-day event gives amateur photographers expert tips on how to control all aspects of exposure and composition. They will also be able to go out into the field to try out their new found skills and photograph the wildlife at the zoo.

Joyce Roberts, manager at Drayton Manor Zoo, said: “We wanted to offer people the chance to come and capture some of the amazing animals we have here on camera, whilst getting expert tips and advice from a professional photographer and learn some new skills along the way.”

The 5-hour long course costs £165 and runs each Wednesday. There is a maximum of ten students per day and anyone interested in booking a place can call Rob Price Photography on 01827 314347 or 01827 230333. For more information, visit www.robprice.co.uk/training.
