A woman found dead in a Lichfield park has been named.
Patricia Wilcox, 69, was found in a pool at Beacon Park yesterday.
Police have confirmed that they are not treating the death of the Boley Park resident as suspicious.
They are however still trying to piece together her last movements and are looking for witnesses who may have seen her.
A Staffordshire Police spokesman said:
“CCTV shows the woman walking through Lichfield city centre towards Beacon Park at 9.35pm on Monday. We’re appealing for witnesses who may have seen her there or in Beacon Park on Monday night. She is described as being white, around 5ft tall, with grey hair, a floral skirt and a purple cardigan.
“Anyone with information should ring Staffordshire Police on 0300 123 4455, quoting incident number 109 of 15 September.”
