ORGANISERS have hailed the atmosphere created by visitors to the Lichfield Proms in Beacon Park.
The 27th edition of the free event once again featured music from the City of Lichfield Concert Band and the British Police Symphony Orchestra.
A spokesperson for Lichfield District Council said:
"From the music and singing to the flags, fireworks and some seriously impressive table set-ups, everyone made the park look and feel incredible.
"A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, and to all the performers, sponsors, traders, staff, volunteers and teams behind the scenes who made the event possible.
"It's been 27 years of Lichfield Proms in Beacon Park, and nights like this remind us exactly why we do it. What an atmosphere.
"Thank you, Lichfield – we hope you loved it as much as we did."
