Photography Competition: Win a studio lighting kit and free photography workshop plus studio time!

On Saturday, 30th June the Torch Relay makes it’s way through Lichfield and will do so to great fanfare.

At Lichfield Live we love capturing the spirit of local events through the lens and the relay will be no different. This time we want you to join us!

We’ve teamed up with Lichfield Camera ClubSara Moseley Photography and Arc Studios to offer some great prizes for all you budding amateur photographers. We’re giving away a studio lighting kit, a free place on one of Sara’s ‘kick start your photography’ workshops and an hours use of a Lichfield photography studio. That’s a total value of over £300!

The lighting kit is ideal for getting started with studio lighting and contains; 3 x 180w Lamps total 540w, 3 x 190cm Light Stands, 2 x 50 x 70 Softbox, 1 x White shoot-through Umbrella, 1 x Silver Umbrella, 1 x Barn doors, honeycomb and gels, 1 x 4Ch Trigger set, 1 x heavily padded carry case to hold it all.

To be in with a chance to win all you need to do is take a photo of the torch relay as it passes through Lichfield! Simply submit your best photos below and our panel of judges will pick out the two best photos.

Our judging panel includes Michael Fabricant MP, president of Lichfield Camera Club, Sara Moseley of Sara Moseley Photography and Paul Groves from Lichfield Live. The photo they choose as the best will receive the excellent lighting starter kit with the second place winning a place on a great photography workshop and third place taking the free studio time.
