Acoustic guitar legend Gordon Giltrap is making a welcome return to Lichfield.
The composer and performer’s range of musical flavours will be served up at the Guildhall on 1st November.
The prog rock punk sound of Lucifer’s Cage will feature alongside music and sounds from his latest release The Last of England, while pieces from throughout his multi-decade career will feature during the evening.
A Lichfield Arts spokesman said: “Gordon Giltrap is one of the country’s leading acoustic guitarists and composer.
“His style is instantly recognisable, and although his music is dazzlingly complex at times, and his fingers are a whirl of activity, there is always a strong sense of melody and musicianship at the centre of it.”
