Actor and impressionist Alistair McGowan is set to bring the songs, poems and prose of Noel Coward to the stage in Lichfield.
He will be joined by musical actress Charlotte Page for the Sincerely Noel show at the Lichfield Garrick on February 8.
Featuring well-known classics including Mad About The Boy, Never Again and Alice Is At It Again Alistair and Charlotte, will deliver a fresh take on Coward’s dazzling dialogue, irresistible one-liners and acerbic wit.
A spokesperson said: “Noel Coward was a man ahead of his time. In other ways he was very much of his time. Sincerely Noel shows that he is indeed for all time – we all still struggle with the ‘impossibility and necessity’ of love.”
