Plans are being drawn up for this year’s Proms in the Park event and an appeal for sponsors has been issued by Lichfield District Council.
The free event, which takes place in Beacon Park, is funded by grants and local businesses.
Even in these tough financial times it would be a shame to see an event such as this – which attracts up to 10,000 people – disappear because of a lack of funding.
