Witnesses to a crash which left a Burntwood biker in intensive care are being urged to come forward.

The 36-year-old was thrown from his black Kawasaki motorcycle on the A38 near Barton-under-Needwood at 10.35am yesterday (October 4) after it collided with the central reservation.

He suffered serious arm and spinal injuries and is in intensive care at the Royal Stoke University Hospital.

Police say they don’t believe any other vehicles were involved, but want to speak to witnesses who may have seen the bike or accident.P
