Appeal after man taken to hospital in Tamworth crash

Incident involving Nissan Juke and Ford van happened on Pennine Way.

POLICE are appealing for information after a man was taken to hospital following a crash in Tamworth.

Emergency services were called at 1.35pm on Thursday (30th July) to Pennine Way, at the junction of Eringden, following reports of a collision involving a silver Nissan Juke and a white Ford van.

The driver of the Nissan, a man, was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The male driver of the Ford van suffered minor injuries and did not require hospital treatment.

A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said:

"We are keen to speak to anyone who was travelling in the area with any information or footage which could help collision investigators."
