An art festival is returning to Lichfield for a second time.
The Art Box event in 2012 saw various exhibitions, live music events and workshops staged across the city.
Now the organisers are planning a return in 2014 with the festival being spread between Lichfield and Birmingham.
“We hope to create opportunities for artists across different spheres of invention to exhibit in unusual venues and offers the chance to exhibit with their peers and other artists,” a spokesperson said. “We invite not just fine art applicants, but sculptors, musicians, even sugarcrafters!
“Thematically, obviously we love anything based around boxes, but this time we really want to celebrate the concept of upcycling.”
Application forms can be downloaded from www.artboxfestival.com, with a closing date of November 28 for entries.
