CHASETOWN have completed the signing of Australian defender Leo Latter.

The youngster left his homeland in 2023 to pursue a football career – and soon landed a scholarship with Football League club Port Vale.

He has since gone on to turn out for Sandbach United, Harrogate Town before moving CPD Y Rhyl 1879 and Prestatyn Town in Wales.

Chasetown boss Carl Dickinson said:

"Leo is a young defender with a lot of potential and a real desire to improve.

"He's shown great commitment by moving halfway around the world to pursue his football ambitions – and that's the kind of character we want at this football club.

"He's gained valuable experience in both England and Wales, and we believe he has all the attributes to develop into a very good player for Chasetown."
