LICHFIELD'S Finlay Lines brought his 2026 BNL Karting Series campaign to a fantastic conclusion at Karting Genk in Belgium.
The youngster claimed the overall weekend victory to secure second place in the championship and finish the season as vice-champion.
Arriving at the final round sitting second in the Junior Max standings, Lines headed to Genk determined to challenge for the title.
With the season coming down to its final weekend, there was everything to play for as he prepared to take on a competitive field of international drivers.
The event provided the perfect opportunity for the city speedster to finish his campaign on a high – and he delivered when it mattered most.
Alongside the Vice-Championship honours, the result also secured him a coveted ticket to the 2026 Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals in Portimão in Portugal where he will represent Team UK against some of the best drivers from around the world in November.

"Obviously, the aim was to fight for the championship, but I’m really happy to finish the season like this and secure my ticket to the Rotax Grand Finals.
"A massive thank you to KR Sport, KR Racing Engines, Joshua Graham, JAG ROTAX, Rotax UK and everyone who has supported me throughout the season. The team has given me a mega package all year and I’m looking forward to representing Team UK in Portugal."
