The Garrick Studio will welcome award-winning production Ablutions as part of the Lichfield Festival.
FellSwoop Theatre bring their adaptation of Patrick deWitt’s novel to the city stage on July 12 and 13.
Ablutions is described as “a dark, boozy, grimly funny tale from the sodden depths of the Los Angeles underworld”.
Director Bertrand Lesca added: ““I consider Ablutions an essential work of literature, one we are thrilled to bring to the stage.
“Presenting the epic tale of a man going on an existential quest across America has opened up new and exciting creative opportunities for the performers.”
