The Sleaze Brothers Inc will kick off Lichfield Arts’ 2015 concert season.
They will perform at the Guildhall on January 10 after a popular performance at the 2014 Fuse Festival.
Vocalist Martin Derry said: “We can’t wait to play, we had an excellent reception at Fuse and have some big surprises lined up for the January gig.”
The band have agreed to play for a reduced fee to help Lichfield Arts raise much-needed funds.
Financial concerns over funding for Fuse have led to the charity cancelling the 2015 Fuse Festival.
Lichfield Arts President Brian Pretty said: “The Sleaze Brothers have long been associated with Lichfield Arts and were one of the highlights at this year’s Fuse festival. By the end of their set the tent was heaving with people having a good time.
“Although the temperatures in January will be a lot colder, we are still expecting the same warm festival vibe, fusing tight musicianship with feelgood songs that everyone knows.”
