Barton United finally put a halt on their losing run – but will be disappointed to have only bagged a point at the league’s bottom club.
Inkberrow have been the Midland Football Combination Division Two’s whipping boys this season, but United found them a tough nut to crack in the 4-4 draw – only the home side’s fifth league point in 22 outings.
But it has at least stemmed the tide for Barton who have now slipped to ninth after harbouring title hopes before Christmas.
