United leapfrogged Badsey Rangers after securing a point against lowly Enville Athletic.
But with leaders Paget Rangers also drawing, Barton know that they could have closed the seven point gap even further.
United will get another chance to put pressure on the front-runners when they entertain Perrywood next Saturday (December 14).
