Barton United took the local bragging rights after seeing off Burntwood Town in the Challenge Vase.
Goals from Jonathan Douglas, RObert Houston, Peter Martin and Grant Winwood were enough to seal a 4-1 victory.
Burntwood’s defeat will be another blow in what has been a disappointing season so far. But they will hope for a better result when they face Milton United Reserves in the Staffordshire Challenge Cup on Saturday (October 5).
