Barton United kept themselves in touch with the front-runners in the Midland Combination Second Division with a 2-0 win at basement side Coventry Spartans.
The result leaves them fifth in the table, five points adrift of Sutton United who have played one less game, and 12 behind Perrywood in third who have played three more fixtures.
Another trip to Coventry awaits Barton on Easter Monday when they visit Coventry Spires.
