A hefty test of Barton United’s title credentials is on the way as they prepare to lock horns with third placed Badsey Rangers in a double header.
Both sides are desperate to hang onto the coat tails of leaders Paget Rangers, with a draw tomorrow (January 18) unlikely to do either side any favours.
How they stand at the top of the Midland Football Combination Division Two:
| P | GD | Pts | |
| Paget Rangers | 20 | +47 | 44 |
| Barton United | 19 | +5 | 36 |
| Badsey Rangers | 16 | +27 | 34 |
With goal difference not on Barton’s side they will know three points against their fierce rivals tomorrow – and in the reverse fixture the following Saturday (January 25) – will be crucial if they have any hope of overhauling the eight point gap to the leaders.
Kick-off at Holland Sports Club tomorrow is at 2pm.
