The wheels have continued to come off Barton United’s title tilt as they suffered a heavy defeat against mid-table Perrywood.
United’s early season form appears to have deserted them as a 4-0 away defeat leaves them sixth in the Midland Football Combination Division Two table and eight points off leaders Paget Rangers.
They will be desperate to restore pride and climb back into the leading pack when they travel to fourth placed Kenilworth Town on Saturday (March 1).
