LICHFIELD’S penultimate league game of the season will see them take on Wombourne.
The city side will be hoping for a positive start to what has been a miserable campaign so far.
They currently sit rock bottom of the South Staffordshire County League Premier Division with just three wins from 20 fixtures.
But fourth-place Wombourne will provide another tough test of Lichfield’s fragile confidence when the two sides meet this afternoon (6th September).
