Lichfield District Council is reminding residents to check their bin calendars to find out when their rubbish will be collected over Christmas
The holiday period means no collections will take place on Christmas Day and Boxing Day or New Year’s Day.
Councillor Louise Flowith said: “If your bins are usually emptied on any of these days, please check your 2012/2013 bin calendar to find out when your replacement collections will be.”
On top of news about Christmas collections, the council is also warning local residents that if it snows, or is particularly icy, some collections could be suspended.
