A number of services are facing disruption as Lichfield and Burntwood continues to deal with the aftermath of a weekend of wintry weather.

Snow and ice has already seen a number of school closures across the region, but other businesses have also been affected.

The National Memorial Arboretum has closed for the day, along with King Edward VI Leisure Centre in Lichfield.

Meanwhile, Friary Grange Leisure Centre and Burntwood Leisure Centre will also shut at 4pm today.

Bin collections have also been put on ice for the day.

Unfortunately due to the continuing snow and icy conditions we have suspended all bin collections today. We will continue to assess road conditions and will aim to clear any backlog later in the week. pic.twitter.com/OAjcLqk6Yb
