A LOCAL architecture business has celebrated its 80th anniversary.
BHB Architects hosted a celebration event at The Hub at St Mary's – the site of one of the company's previous projects.
The firm was founded in 1946 by Walsall architect Jack Ballinger following his military service. It later expanded to Lichfield where a number of landmark buildings have been part of its portfolio in the heritage, commercial and residential sectors.
Joint managing director Adrian Mathias said:
"It was important for us to celebrate 80 years of BHB Architects with our current team, clients, consultants and local contractors.
"We enjoyed showing the vast range of projects we have completed in Lichfield and throughout England in a building that we have helped to bring into a successful community use.
"We look forward to the next decade, designing and managing positive change throughout the area."
