The Birmingham Philarmonic Orchestra will celebrates 70 years of performances with Gustav Mahler’s Tenth Symphony at the Lichfield Cathedral.
Inaugurated in 1941 to raise funds for wartime charities, the orchestra is still delighted audiences across the country.
At the helm for the Lichfield performance will be Michael Seal, familiar to concert-goers as Assistant Conductor of CBSO.
